Export - help & hints

This is how a export of a file could look like (except for the colors of course, they are only here for demonstration purposes):

This export was made with following parameters:

Ranges:
- Start offset: 200
- End offset: 295
- Bytes per row: 10
- Input format: "hexadecimal"
Seperators:
- Seperator between offset and hex column: " " (space character)
  Colored with in the above example.
- Seperator between hex values: "-" (hyphen)
  Colored with in the above example.
- Seperator between hex column and readable characters: " " (space character)
  Colored with in the above example.
- Seperator between readable characters: "_" (underscore)
  Colored with in the above example.
- Input format: "character"
All sections were exported.

Hints:

Offsets are zero-based, but "Bytes per row" is one-based.
The byte at the end offset is included in the export.
The seperator fields can be left empty.
In "character" mode, the seperators can be up to three characters long.
The default entries of the form will export the complete file, as seen before on the view page.
If you would prefer a export which is more in a CSV format, you could switch to "character" and enter a comma or semicolon as seperator.
The charset of the export will be "US-ASCII", so every byte which is not a character will be masked with a dot.
If the "download" option is selected, most browsers will display a download dialog for a file called "export.txt".
The "download" option is especially useful for large exports.
